About Morgins and Portes Du Soleil.
• The Portes du Soleil is the name given to a collection of twelve interlinked skiing resorts in France and Switzerland. A single ski pass gives access to a massive 650 kms of pisted runs and innumerable off-piste areas serviced by 212 lifts. Most of the resorts are within two hours of Geneva and, apart from the purpose-built resorts such as Avoriaz, most are farming villages that have succeeded in retaining their charm and character despite their conversion into skiing towns.
• Morgins is one of the most attractive villages in the Portes du Soleil. It is small, intimate, full of traditional Swiss alpine charm, and the perfect choice for a summer or winter self-catering holiday.
